@ THE MOVIES

The Dark Knight
In short, I thought it was too long and had way too much going on. I wanted more Joker and less of everything else. The Joker was perfect - the Oscar buzz is legitimate. I don't buy Maggie G. as a love interest, gross. Also, two-face? Felt very forced for me and at 2 hours and 40 minutes, I just didn't care anymore. The whole two-face felt a lot like when they tried to introduce Venom at the end of Spiderman 3.

Maybe I was going in expecting too much. Batman's voice still bothers me. Oh yeah, and a cop says "Lock and load." Come on?

To sum it up:
Batman fights people. Joker is the best villain I've ever seen in a superhero movie. Maggie G. wanders around pretending to be a love interest. Harvey Dent gets burned and turns mean because his ugly girlfriend died. Explosion, Explosion! Cop says Lock and Load! BATMAN!

This is not the best movie of all time.  I think the metacritic got it right, 82 is a fair score.
