Faith Forum

Anyone else impressed by McCain in the recent faith forum? McCain provided concise, decisive answers to questions regarding core values. Meanwhile, Obama seemed a bit professorial. To be honest, Obama, outside of a rehearsed speech, seemed lost. It's almost as if he wanted to appeal to everyone and as result, never really answered any of the questions. Score one for McCain.

That pommel horse was rode hard and put away wet

Preston and Ant came over last night and we watched some of dem' Olympics. I still standby what I said about the games being boring. The pommel horse? Seriously? Can we update these games a bit? Can we add fire to the pommel horse? Or make those rings a little higher off the ground to make the falls more interesting? I saw one Asian fall off those rings and it just wasn't satisfying. Now take those rings and raise 40-50 ft. off the ground and we've got an entertaining sport.

Bonus points for the lady sitting on a couch and watching a full game of NCAA 09 and Grand Theft Auto. Points deducted for making fun of my beloved Rockies. You guys drink your fancy Fat Tire all night, when I'm watching the Olympics, I need something that tastes like AMERICA.

Fire Eagle, Yahoo's personal location service, has been in beta for awhile but is now live for anyone to use. The service allows you to update your location through the site, your phone, or through 3rd party apps and services.
